Here is what owners Dan and Megan Galati had to say about their entertainment business mecca which includes the popular, MyDJ Entertainment and MySelfie Photo Booth and everything you need for your gala including photography and lighting.
Can you tell us about your background and what inspired you to get into the entertainment business?
Our lead DJ Dan Galati has been a professional DJ for 17 years. His passion for music spread to the wedding industry after he and Megan married in 2012. Together they grew the business into what it is today adding more services along the way. The photo booth came to life in 2016. Now we have three wedding DJ’s and two photo booths and offer many different lighting solutions including party lighting and up-lighting. We have been in business for 7 years, and are a full service entertainment business offering DJ, Photo Booth and Lighting Solutions for any event.
What different types of parties do you provide your services for? Can you speak of any events you cover in the Sarasota area that readers may be familiar with? What is the most extravagant gig you’ve done?
We are excited to be part of some wonderful fundraising events around town and in the greater Tampa area. We have donated our photo booth services to An Evening for Healthy Start for 4 years running to benefit babies, mothers and families in Sarasota. We are proud to be involved with the Junior League of Sarasota at their annual Lilly Pulitzer Luncheon and Fashion Show. We are excited to provide DJ and photo booth services for this wonderful fundraising event!! We provide service for all types of events such as weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, fundraising events, anniversaries, parties, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceaneras and so much more!
Though you are somewhat new to the IBE directory of members having joined in 2017 can you discuss how it is going with IBE? Are there any services you’ve utilized as a result of becoming an IBE member?
Yes, we have been IBE members since 2017. We have had a chance to work with some outstanding companies such as Venus Med Spa and Cool Today both of which we have traded back with. They are so amazing, established, and such a pleasure work with! We really look forward to many more successful barters with IBE.
